The Scottish Stack


Ingredients :

1 rasher of bacon (smoked / unsmoked)

1 slice of haggis 1 slice of black pudding

1 slice of potato scone

1 fried egg

Salt and pepper

Pinch of dried chilli flakes

Water cress

HP Brown sauce (optional)

Method :

Fry it and stack it. Slice your black pudding and haggis and fry in a pan for 6-8 minutes along with the potato scone and bacon - fry until it’s how you like it (crispy) for me.

Place the black pudding, haggis, potatoe scone and bacon on a plate and place in a low pre heated oven to keep warm. Fry your egg in the same pan. Once the egg is in the pan add salt, pepper and a pinch of dried chilli flakes then cook for about 4 minutes.

…and stack it

Start off with the fried potato scone as your base the build from there - Potato scone - Haggis - Bacon - Black pudding - Fried egg - Water cress garish (HP Sauce)
